Westray residents to hear about local genes

The talk by professor Jim Wilson from the University of Edinburgh relates to research in the Orkney genetic clinic and the ORCADES study (part of Viking Genes).

Leading geneticists from the Universities of Aberdeen and Edinburgh will talk to Westray residents about their health-related discoveries, in a talk next week.

The free event will take place on Thursday, March 16, at 7.30pm at The Grand Owld Byre, Chalmersquoy.
