Two more sides book Parish Cup quarter-final places

Erik Kemp put Firth in front before Birsay hit back.

Birsay and Holm were the latest sides to book their spots in the quarter-finals of The Orcadian Parish Cup, seeing off Firth and Deerness respectively.

The first tie of the day in Firth saw Erik Kemp open the scoring, before Scott Flett’s free-kick drew Birsay level just before half-time.

Flett’s second – a speculative ball into the box – landed in the net to see Birsay progress 3-2 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, Holm and Deerness shared seven goals in a frenetic 4-3 match. Holm progress 6-4 on aggregate.
