Temporary closure of Kirkwall to Finstown road

Orkney Islands Council (OIC) has advised that delays are likely on tomorrow, Thursday, while white lining work is completed on the main Kirkwall to Finstown road.

“Temporary road closures will be needed at times while the work is carried out on the stretch of road around the Saverock junction,” an OIC spokesperson confirmed.

OIC have advised drivers to consider using the Old Finstown Road instead.
