Temporary closure for Hatston recycling centre

Orkney Islands Council (OIC) has confirmed that Hatston Recycling Centre will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, April 5.

This is due to due to “operational reasons”, according to OIC.

The council is hopeful that it will be business as usual come Wednesday, and will update as necessary.

A temporary sign will be placed on the entry gate advising of the closure.

OIC has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
