Tall Ships photographic competition

After a weekend packed with photographic opportunities, thanks to the visit of over 20 magnificent Tall Ships to the county, Orkney Islands Council is inviting people to send in their snaps as part of their photo competition.

The 2011 Tall Ships Photographic Competition asks for pictures taken during the past weekend of celebrations, whether it be of the ships themselves or photos taken at one of the many events.

The contest’s categories are: All Hands on Deck; A Life on the Ocean Wave; Tall Ship Panorama; The Shore Side Attraction and All Ship Shape & Bristol Fashion.
