Despite a damp start to Stromness Shopping Week on Monday, during its official opening ceremony, crowds have been turning out to enjoy all that the annual week of events has to offer.

The town enjoyed a scorcher of a day yesterday, with a selection of events including pavement art and sandcastle building. There’s still plenty to come as events will be continuing till Saturday.
