Stone theft in Stromness prompts police appeal

Police are appealing for information after a quantity of South Ronaldsay stone was removed from a building site near Coplands Dock in Stromness.

Officers say around two tonnes of material went missing between Friday, December 24 and Monday, January 10.

Anyone with information on the above incident is asked to contact Kirkwall Police Station.
