Stolen bike prompts police appeal

A pedal bike that is alleged to have been stolen a fortnight ago has prompted a police appeal for information.

Police Scotland are asking for information in relation to an alleged theft of a blue and green cube mountain bike from a property in Hermaness, Kirkwall.

Officers says the bike was left at the side of the property and that a theft is thought to have occurred between 9pm and 10pm on Friday, August 19.

If anyone has any information regarding this can they please contact Police Scotland on 101, or attend at the Kirkwall Police Station.
