Six to appear from custody

Six people are due to appear from custody at Kirkwall Sheriff Court today, following a number of alleged incidents around Orkney at the weekend.

A road accident occurred on Friday night at Hatston Park, and the driver was subsequently arrested.

Three people were taken into custody following an alleged disturbance in Stromness on Saturday evening.

Meanwhile, two people are due to appear in court following separate, alleged domestic incidents in Kirkwall and Rendall.
