Throughout its 200 year history, Westray Baptist Church has been spiritual home to hundreds of families, thousands of individuals and over twenty ministers. More important than numbers, however, has been the spiritual contribution to island life. Now in this up to date history, marking the bi-centenary of the fellowship, you can read about the people and events which have shaped the church and which are still making a difference for the kingdom. Margaret Scott, or Nan as she is known, is perhaps most famous as Honarary President of Orkney's Family History Society. In this book her research focuses on the church's family history. Drawing on her own memories as well as minute books, she has collected an impressive history of church life over two centuries.
