Shetland are winners in the pool

Kirkwall Swimming Pool was painted blue this afternoon as Shetland claimed a 59-35 win, in the second Junior Inter-county event of the day.

Orkney swimming captain Finley Hall was the only member of his team to record a 1st place finish, which came in the 50 metres backstroke.

Overall, Orkney trail their northern counterparts by 93 points to 76, going into tonight’s football match.
