Sheep fatalities prompt police appeal

Livestock fatalities have resulted from a sheep worrying incident at Smiddy Farm in South Ronaldsay, according to Police Scotland. They say this occurred between 4pm on Saturday, November 13  and 9am on Monday, November 15.

Officers are reminding people of the dangers of animal worrying and urge them to keep dogs under control at all times when near livestock.

Anyone with information or who may have seen dogs loose in this area are requested to contact Kirkwall Police Station on 101 or crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
