Royal Mail Christmas post reminder

With the Christmas countdown well underway, Royal Mail is reminding people with friends and family overseas to get their Christmas cards and gifts in the post before the latest recommended posting dates. These are:

• Monday, December 5: South and Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Far East (including Japan), Asia, New Zealand and Australia.

• Friday, December 9: USA, Canada and Eastern Europe.

• Monday, December 12: Western Europe.
