Roadworks due on Victoria Street, Kirkwall

Victoria Sreet in Kirkwall will be closed to vehicles for periods of time over the next three days, from tomorrow, Tuesday, as repairs to flagstones are carried out.

Orkney Islands Council said the street will be closed from 9am to midday and then again from 1pm to 3.30pm as required, while repairs are carried out.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works. Mended areas will be covered by temporary ramps to allow the repairs to bed in.
