Road resurfacing next week

Orkney Islands Council is due to carry out a number of surface dressing and road marking operations in the county, beginning tomorrow. All of the operations are weather permitting.

The full schedule is listed below: —

•Brodgar Road (Bockan — A967 ) — Monday and Tuesday.

•Borwick Road — Wednesday.

•Yesnaby road — Wednesday.

•Scorradale Road — Thursday and Friday.

Cars and light vehicles will be subject to diversions where possible, whilst buses and heavy goods will experience delays and speed restrictions.

The OIC are apologising for any inconvenience this may cause but would greatly appreciate the public co-operation with these restrictions in the interests of road safety.
