Road diversions in place due to house fire

As fire crews continue to try to extinguish a fire at a house near Binscarth, Finstown, a number of road diversions are in operation.

The fire has closed the main A965 Kirkwall to Stromness road, from the Harray junction to Finstown.

Alternative routes are over the Heddle Hill and through Orphir (from Kirkwall) or turning off at Stenness and up over the hill into Orphir.
