Recycling collections running late due to strong winds

Orkney Islands Council has said that recycling collections in Rendall, Evie and Orphir are running behind this afternoon due to the bad weather.

The collections are being affected rising winds, with the teams unable to pick up paper and plastics.

According to the council, if recycling isn’t picked up today, the teams will aim to collect it on Monday instead.
