Updated: Recycling centre temporarily closed

Orkney Islands Council is advising that Cursiter Recycling Centre has been temporarily closed today, Wednesday, to help stop traffic spreading a small spill of engine oil.

The council will be posting updates on the OIC Facebook page and council homepage, www.orkney.gov.uk, when the spill is cleared up and the centre has reopened.

**UPDATE** The spill at Cursiter Recycling Centre has been cleared up and the centre is now open again as usual.
