Are you ready for a Right Rock Rammy?

The first of two festive gigs, organised by Orkney Live Wire, kicks off tonight in Kirkwall’s Matchmakers.

Doors open at 8.30pm for A Right Rock Rammy, which is due to include performances from three local rock bands.

Local metal band, Electric Mother.
Folk duo Saltfishforty will be “channelling their dark side” as Saltfishfilthy.
  • Rum Ham — 9-10pm
  • Salfishfilthy — 10.20-11.20pm
  • Electric Mother — 11.40pm-12-40am

This ticketed gig is open to all ages, though under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

Tomorrow night, the fun is set to continue with A Full-on Folk Feast, also at Matchmakers.
