Police trace male youth in connection to Papdale incident

Police Scotland has confirmed tonight that they have traced a male youth in connection to an incident that occurred in Papdale around 7.15pm last night.

Officers have said that there were no injuries and there was no wider risk to the public, following reports of concerning behaviour being exhibited by a man in the Willow Road area.

This afternoon, Police reported that a specialist crew of armed officers was flown into Kirkwall yesterday, after reports of a man carrying what was described as a firearm.
