Police on the trail of festive vandals

Incidents involving damage to property in the run up to Christmas are under investigation.

Police are appealing for information about an incident which left a window on the roof of Holm Community Centre smashed. It is understood that this act of vandalism occurred between December 11 and December 22.

Officers are also on the hunt for the culprit behind damage to a vehicle in Kirkwall.

The incident at the long stay car park at the Peedie Hostel is believed to have occurred on Friday, December 24, between 8am and 2pm. You can also phone crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
