Police appeal after medication lost

Police in Kirkwall have been advised that a package containing prescription medication was lost either in St Margaret’s Hope or Kirkwall on Wednesday morning, this week.

Police are asking anyone who finds the package to take it to the police station or to a chemists for disposal.

The public are also being reminded that the consumption of any medication without it first having been prescribed by a medical professional is both irresponsible and potentially very dangerous.
