Police appeal after “large sum of money” stolen from car

Police are appealing for information after a car parked in The Pickaquoy Centre carpark, in Kirkwall, was broken into and a large sum of money was removed.

According to police, the money was taken from a grey Vauxhall Vectra on Friday, September 29, between 7.20pm and 8.30pm.

Anyone with information on the above incident is asked to contact Kirkwall Police Station on the 101 phone number.
