Police appeal for missing Rousay man

Police are looking for James Scott, who was last seen at his home in Rousay on Monday afternoon, July 15.

Police say they have increasing concerns for a missing person, James Scott.

Mr Scott, who is 80 years old, suffers from dementia and is registered blind. He was last seen at his home address in Rousay, Orkney at 2pm on July 15.

It is believed that Mr Scott has not left the island of Rousay, but this cannot be officially confirmed at this time.

Police are requesting that should anyone see James, then they should call 101 as soon as possible.

James is described as 5ft 10 inches tall, slim build, with short white hair and a short white beard. At the time he was last seen he was wearing a white-ish heavy jumper and grubby blue jeans.

Police are also asking for all members of the public living on the island of Rousay to check their garages and outhouses in case James as taken shelter somewhere.
