Police appeal after car damaged in Kirkwall

Police in Kirkwall are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged outside the West End Hotel, Main Street, Kirkwall.

According to police, the silver coloured Mercedes-Benz was damaged while parked outside the hotel, sometime between 6pm on Saturday and 6.40am the following Sunday morning.

The damage is not believed to have been caused by another vehicle.

Anyone who has any information about this incident is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 or call in at Kirkwall Police Station.
