Police appeal after Birsay man reported missing

Police in Kirkwall are appealing for information after James Mainland, 88, from Birsay, was reported missing.

Police are asking local residents to check our houses and property around the Birsay area for Mr Mainland.

Anyone who may have seen him, or had any other relevant information, is asked to contact Kirkwall police station on the 101 phone number
