Parish Cup draw results

The draw for the opening round and quarter-finals of The Orcadian Parish Cup was drawn this evening.

With 14 teams entering the 2012 tournament — four less than last year — there will be six preliminary ties. Firth and Deerness received a first round bye and will not play until the quarter-final stage.

The full draw was as follows:

First round

• St Andrews v Sandwick
• Holm v Hoy, Flotta and Walls
• Stromness v Birsay
• Stenness v Westray
• Sanday v South Ronaldsay
• Rendall v St Ola

Quarter-finals

• Firth v St Andrews/Sandwick
• Stromness/Birsay v Sanday/South Ronaldsay
• Holm/Hoy, Flotta and Walls v Deerness
• Rendall/St Ola v Stenness/Westray.

The first leg fixtures are due to be played on the weekend of April 14 and 15.
