Outrun crew set sights on local talent

A call has gone out across Orkney for locally based people to audition for the Hollywood production of Amy Liptrot’s memoir, The Outrun.

Producers have specified they are looking for local people to fill various speaking and non-speaking roles and star alongside Saoirse Ronan in the highly anticipated film, set to shoot in the county later this year.
