Orkney women thrash Banff

Orkney’s Amy Walker ran in four tries at a freezing Pickaquoy.

Amy Walker was on supreme try-scoring form this afternoon as Orkney’s women’s rugby side thrashed Banff.

As the temperatures dropped on the sidelines, Orkney were simply just too hot to handle on the pitch, running in ten tries.

Walker was the chief tormentor, running in four tries, while Paige Archibald scored arguably the try of the match, dancing past several tackles and then sprinting clear as she ended the match with three tries.

Nikita Scollie, Tiphaine Cazenave and the impressive Stacey Tualasea got one each as the Orkney routed their Banff opponents 63-0.
