Orkney surrender Green Cup

Orkney’s county footballers surrendered the Green Cup this afternoon, losing 3-1 to Wick Academy.

The Highland League outfit fell behind to Liam Delday’s first goal for Orkney after 25 minutes.

Wick turned the match around before half-time, going in at the break 2-1, before extending their lead in the second-half.

Orkney’s next match is the Milne Cup 100 fixture against Shetland at the end of the month.
