Orkney and Shetland bands join forces for Musical Feast

A stellar line-up Orkney and Shetland bands are to come together in the West Mainland  later tomorrow for a fundraising mini-festival.

Tomorrow, Saturday, brings Orkney Live Wire and Heavy Metal Buffet’s Musical Feast — a selection of folk, rock and hip hop treats — to the Standing Stones Hotel, in Stenness.

Kicking off at 2pm, the collaboration between the organisers of Orkney Rock Festival and Shetland Rock Festival, will see 11 acts perform in an effort to raise money for the Orkney Deaf Children’s Society and the RNLI.
