Orkney edged out against Dunfermline

There was disappointment for Orkney RFC yesterday as they lost their top-of-the-table clash against Dunfermline.

Orkney were leading 3-7 at the break but a second-half comeback from Dunfermline saw the Fife side win the contest 11-7.

The victory sees Dunfermline leapfrog Orkney into top spot in the Tennent’s Caledonia League Division 1 but Orkney do have two games in hand.

Orkney are back on their travels next weekend, taking on Glenrothes.
