Orkney Dragons seal famous away win

Orkney RFC women sealed a fantastic win away to BT National League 2 side Aberdeenshire Quines to progress to the semi-finals of the BT Women’s Bowl.

The match pitted Orkney against a side currently sitting fifth in the second division of the women’s National Leagues, with the Orkney Dragons sealing a thrilling 29-30 win — arguably their biggest win in their short history.

Meanwhile, Orkney’s men lost out to Newton Stewart 27-13 in the only BT National League Division 3 fixture of the day.
