Orkney Brewery scoops another award
The Orkney Brewery is celebrating another awards success after winning a bronze medal at a major UK beer competition in London this week.
The brewery’s 4.4 per cent Atlas Wayfarer ale scooped the prestigious accolade in the speciality beer category of the Champion Beer of Britain competition — staged as part of the Great British Beer festival.
The Orkney Brewery was one of only two Scottish breweries to take home an award from the event. At last year’s festival, the Orkney Brewery was the sole Scottish winner, receiving a bronze medal for its 3.8 per cent Raven Ale.
