Open-top bus arrives in Orkney

An open-top double decker bus has arrived in Orkney today, Thursday.

The bus, which is part of Stagecoach’s fleet, will operate a special tour route throughout the summer months.

Managing director of Stagecoach in the Highland area, Steve Walker said: “We are delighted to bring the open top decker to Orkney for the summer season.

“The islands offer some spectacular scenery which will be admired even more from the top deck. It has been a few years since Orkney has seen a double decker on their bus routes so this will be a very exciting time for locals and visitors alike.”
