NorthLink clarify dry dock arrangements

NorthLink announced on Tuesday  the dates and arrangements for the 2012 dry dock season.

The announcement has led to some comment and discussion.

A company spokesman said: “For the sake of clarity NorthLink should underline the fact that the arrangements which have been put in place to cover the period when each of the three passenger vessels are off station for their statutory survey and overhauls are exactly those provided for in the 2006 Northern Isles lifeline ferry services contract as operated by NorthLink Ferries in previous years.”
