NHS Orkney to hold drop-in vaccination clinics

NHS Orkney will be hosting drop-in vaccination clinics for anyone eligible for their first, second, third, or booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as 2-to-17 year old Flu vaccination. 2-to-11 year olds should be accompanied by someone with parental responsibility.

The clinics will be held at the Kirkwall Vaccination Centre on:

Wednesday, January 19: 1030-1600

Thursday, January 20: 1030-1600

Friday, January, 21: 1030-1600

Monday, January, 24: 1030-1800

Tuesday, January, 25: 1030-1800

Wednesday, January 26: 1030-1800

As a reminder these sessions are for anyone registered with a GP in Orkney. If you are not registered with a GP in Orkney, please call 0300 303 5313 for further support. 

If you are aged 18+ and have had COVID you must wait at least 4 weeks before coming forward for your next vaccination. If you are 17 and under the gap must be at least 8 weeks.

Please do not attend these clinics if you feel unwell or are displaying symptoms of COVID. Those who are displaying COVID symptoms should self-isolate immediately and seek a PCR test.
