NHS Orkney confirms COVID-19 case is in the Central Belt

NHS Orkney has confirmed that yesterday’s COVID-19 case which was added to Orkney’s total is a patient in the Central Belt area.

The case was added to Orkney’s figures due to the patient holding a registered address within the county.

The health board said that the person is self-isolating while contact tracing through the Mainland health board that tested the case was underway.
