New store for Kirkwall

The Co-operative Group has announced plans to open a new convenience store in central Kirkwall.

The new store will be at 19 Albert Street, which was formally Argos, before they moved into J. F.  Groundwater’s.

It will be in addition to the existing Co-op in Pickaquoy Road, which will remain open. The new store is expected to be open by next spring.
