New Scapa Road closed next week

New Scapa Road in Kirkwall will be closed next week while final utility works are carried out at the site of the new hospital.

The road will be closed from Monday, December 4, to Sunday, December 10.

During this time Robertson Construction Ltd will be carrying out the final connection of some public utility services to the new hospital site, as well as permanent reinstatement of earlier excavation works.

During this time traffic diversions will be in place and there will be a safe route for pedestrians available at all times.

Residents in the area will be notified by Robertson Construction Ltd of access arrangements.
