Kirkwall clubs to contest cup final

Kirkwall football teams Hotspurs and Thorfinn contest the Isaac Newlands Cup final this evening.

Thorfinn will be hoping to retain the trophy, sponsored by the Meridian Salmon Group, after beating Rendall in last year’s final.

The match is due to kick-off at the Picky at 7pm.

Also this evening, Dounby host Stromness in the Orkney Cheese ‘A’ League, at 7pm.
