Jubilee sparks celebration across Orkney
Tea parties, parades and a host of other fun activities have been taking place across the county, this week, to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The celebrations are set to continue into the weekend — but we’ve put together a slideshow of some of the events that have taken place so far.
There’s plenty more going on over the next few days, including fun days and picnics across the isles, a beacon lighting at St Magnus Cathedral, and a lunch on the lawn in Kirkwall.
