We are currently seeking a candidate to take on the position of Site Assistant at our Kirkwall Sea Sites. As part of a small team, they will assist their colleagues in building strong key relationships and ensuring a safe working environment for all.
The successful candidate will find themselves directly reportable to the Site Manager, and will have the opportunity to work with the following areas of the farming process: feeding, grading, splitting, fish husbandry, harvesting and general site maintenance.
- Candidate must be flexible with working hours/weekends
- Be a good team player but have the ability to work alone when required
- Inter-personal and excellent communication skills
- Boatmasters or Powerboat Level 2 Certificate, with endorsement
- Loadall Licence/ Forklift Licence
- Manual Handling
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in the industry
