Island of Hoy Development Trust
Pay: £9.30 per hour – 10 hours per week
The Island of Hoy Development Trust is seeking to appoint an Office Assistant to provide administrative support to the Finance and Administration Manager and the Assistant Finance & Administration Officer and aid with the day-to-day operation of the Trusts’ office. The position will be based at the Trusts’ office in Longhope starting on the 6th April 2020.
The successful candidate will be expected to have basic IT skills, to include the use of email, along with a pleasant telephone manner and ability to work as part of a team. A knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and social media would be an advantage. Training will be provided where appropriate.
Normal hours will be:
Monday 14.00 – 17.00
Wednesday 10.00 – 14.00
Friday 14.00 – 17.00
Hours will be variable for the first month to enable working alongside other staff members and for training.
Hours worked may be required to be flexible, but within agreement, to help manage peaks and troughs that occur.
