High winds cause recycling disruption

Orkney Islands Council is advising that because of the windy conditions, it may not be possible to pick up some of the items put out for the recycling collection in the Kirkwall area today.

Any residents who have not had their recycling picked up today are being asked to put their items out when the next collection takes place or take them along to their nearest household waste recycling centre.
