Hatston entrance closed off due to roadworks

Orkney Islands Council’s Roads team is currently carrying out roadworks to replace illuminated bollards on Grainshore Road.

Crews have closed the section of Grainshore Link road which takes traffic into Hatston straight from the A965 (Kirkwall to Finstown Road), to enable this work to be carried out.

Signed diversions are in place.

The council thanks motorists for their patience while these important safety features are renewed.
