Gaan the Distance for Ukraine: Car sticker now available and set to boost appeal fund

After such fantastic support to our Gaan the Distance for Ukraine appeal, now you can really send the momentum behind the appeal into overdrive with a swish new car sticker!

Display your support and backing for our appeal with a sticker of the appeal’s fantastic logo — designed by Print Orkney.

The stickers are £2 each and all proceeds will go towards our mission to raise funds to help the people of Ukraine.

Over £8,500 has been raised to help The Orcadian and McAdie & Reeve in our mission to bring vital aid to Ukrainians who have been forced to flee their homes after Russia’s invasion.

An initial target of £6,500 was set — and reached within three days — to fund a lorry load of donated items such as bedding, mattresses, toiletries and blankets, to be delivered from Orkney to Suceava in Romania close to the Ukraine border.

Now, the mission is to continue this fantastic fundraising efforts with all extra proceeds going towards The British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.

Stickers are 20cm by 10cm and are now available at The Orcadian, The Orcadian Bookshop and McAdie & Reeve.
