Flotta 10k cancelled

Organisers of the Flotta 10k have confirmed that the run, which was due to take place this Sunday, has been cancelled.

Flotta Community Council said they were really disappointed that they had to take the decision to cancel this event.

“We want to apologise to everyone who has taken part in, or supported, this event in the past,” the community council said.

“The Flotta 10k has been an important event for the island and we are very grateful for everyone who has made this possible over the years.

“The Community Council is looking at holding a fun day later in the summer and if possible, we will try to incorporate a run as part of that fun day programme. Watch out for future adverts which will provide full details of the fun day taking place later in the year.”
