First new Orkney coronavirus case in over four weeks confirmed

According to figures published by the Scottish Government today, Friday, an eighth test-positive case of coronavirus has been recorded in Orkney.

This is the first new case to have been confirmed here in almost five weeks.

The Orcadian will be approaching NHS Orkney for further comment.
