Firefighters called to Kirkwall property

An incident in the Buttquoy Drive area of Kirkwall attended to by firefighters was a false alarm, the Scottish Fire and Rescue service has confirmed.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said they were called at around 10.10pm, and three appliances – two from Kirkwall and one from Stromness – made their way to the scene.
